| Bio: | Journal of aspiring (i.e. kicking and screaming and stumbling and crawling and staggering) fantasy writer Nick Cirkovic. Those who know me well consider me to be living in a fantasy world 24-hours a day, so writing the stuff is a natural extension. The same friction experienced by a zillion other writers with a web presence throws up the same grazed ego here: the desire just to be left to my own devices and churn out publishable, artistically competent (the two do not necessarily go hand in hand) and enjoyable fiction. But The Big Bad Real World has a frosty view on that! There are bills to pay and promises to keep, and miles to go before you sleep... Not as young as I would like, nor as old as I could be. Love Fantasy. Have been drawing and writing since I was five. Eclectic tastes in literature, music, art, film and TV; everything from the obscurely elitist to the keep-that-one-to-yourself shamefully but gloriously naff. If you took every cultural jewel or cheap paste imitation from me bar one, I would keep the bona fide crown jewels musical genius of Beethoven, thank you very much. | |||||
